We are pleased to announce that, for the fifth consecutive year, we have further improved our score in the prestigious Global ESG Benchmark for Real Estate (GRESB) from 83 to 84 (out of 100). This represents a 29% increase since our first submission in 2015. With this result, we continue to perform in the top 10% compared to our fellow private real estate companies with diversified portfolios. This performance is in line with our 2020 Strategic Plan priority of demonstrating leadership in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Additionally, we have been named Regional Sector Leader (Achieved highest score for the combination of nature of ownership, region and sector) as part of a separate GRESB survey! This survey covers our managed properties and has placed us first among s other North American companies. This designation demonstrates that we have been able to develop programs and policies that are very effective for properties we manage.

Our participation in the GRESB over recent years has helped broaden our corporate social responsibility and accelerate the progress of our initiatives. GRESB is one of the key tools we use to build an in-depth understanding of the performance of our global portfolio of assets.

We continue to deploy significant efforts in order to remain in a CSR leadership position within the real estate industry, which is also consistently improving as a whole.

Kudos to all teams who contributed to this success!

GRESB, which was founded in 2009, is a survey that assesses environmental, social and governance performance by assigning quantifiable results to portfolios so that businesses can compare themselves with the competitors in their industry. The results enable companies to position themselves but also to determine how they can improve their performance.
